In April, together with Martini, we invited Mateo Zielonka to LUPO, known worldwide as @thepastaman. For years, Mateo has treated handmade pasta fresca as a form of culinary expression, combining craftsmanship with creativity and aesthetics.
MEMPHIS RAVIOLI
As part of the residency created in collaboration with Martini, Mateo prepared a signature dish at Lupo – Memphis Ravioli. These are colourful, hand-shaped ravioli filled with potato and asparagus, served with a butter sauce. The inspiration for the dish came from LUPO’s interiors and the aesthetics of the Italian Memphis style: geometric forms, details, and intense colours – including the iconic red circle, a symbol of Martini.
APERITIVO GOES AL DENTE
During the residency, Mateo not only cooked but also co-created the atmosphere of the entire event. The premiere of the dish was preceded by a special aperitivo, prepared together with the Martini team, which opened the evening, stimulated appetite before the main course, and sparked conversations among guests about Italian traditions.
